If you’re unfamiliar with this sacred date on the Geekian Calendar, SysAdmin Day is the brainchild of Ted Kekatos (check out a great interview with Ted here). Back in 2000, he came across a magazine ad for HP showing grateful office workers giving fruit baskets and flowers to their SysAdmin who had installed their new printer.
